Cui Shao Yang is a Chinese actor and singer born in Xinxiang, Henan, China. He attended the Affiliated Middle School of Henan Normal University in high school and was a track and field athlete, winning the Henan Province Men's 1500m Track and Field Championship. Later, due to an injury, he was unable to continue his career as a track and field athlete and turned to studying acting.
