Lim Ji Soo is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She always had the dream of becoming a singer but her parents opposed. When she was only eight years old, she moved to China to study at a local school instead of studying at an international one. When she was 14, she went to New York to continue her studies and improve her English. In all her travels, her family never supported her as she entered several singing competitions. She eventually graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and, in 2019, became the winner of "Vocal Play Season 2" (보컬플레이). After the show, she signed a short-term contract with Warner Music Korea (워너뮤직코리아), debuting in 2021 with the single "Monologue."
